Choosing a management career is exciting until you realise that knowing business concepts is not the same as knowing how to launch a product, analyse customer behaviour, or make decisions that affect a business. For aspiring managers and entrepreneurs, the challenge is finding opportunities to apply classroom knowledge to real business situations before entering the industry.
PW IOI School of Management brings this practical exposure into its 2-Year Management Programme through live product building, AI-powered decision-making, industry mentorship, startup immersion, and an industry internship. The programme connects management fundamentals with practical learning in product management, business analytics, and entrepreneurship.
PW IOI brings industry exposure into the learning process instead of treating it as something separate from classroom education. The approach combines management concepts with practical applications through:
Live Product Building: Students work on product development rather than learning only through theoretical case studies.
Real-World Business Problem Solving: Learning involves applying concepts to practical business situations.
AI-Powered Decision Making: Students are exposed to AI tools and data-driven approaches for business and product decisions.
Industry-Integrated Curriculum: The programme combines business fundamentals with product, analytics, technology and AI skills.
Industry Mentorship: Students learn from mentors with backgrounds across business, management, startups, marketing and technology.
Startup Immersion: The second year includes startup immersion through the School of Startups ecosystem.
Portfolio-Driven Learning: Students build practical work that can demonstrate their skills beyond academic assessments.
Industry Internship: The final semester includes an industry internship along with Career Studio and portfolio development.
Executive Communication and Pitching: The programme includes communication and storytelling skills relevant to business and founder roles.
Tech + Business Skills: Students develop exposure to business concepts alongside SQL, advanced analytics and AI tools.
This approach connects classroom concepts with the types of activities involved in product development, business analysis, entrepreneurship, and decision-making.
The 2-year management programme offers two specialisations, allowing you to follow different career pathways within management and business.
